Hello, I'm Max, an Interior Designer based in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, East of Melbourne. With a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration (completed in 2009) and a National Accreditation Certificate IV in Kitchen and Bathroom design, I bring both formal training and real life experience to every project.
After renovating five of my own homes, I understand what it feels like to "make do" with a space until you are ready to transform it. That personal experience shapes how I design: practical, thoughtful and centred on how you actually live.
I love the challenge of designing spaces that work spatially, functionally and beautifully while reflecting your routines, memories and personality. Whether it is adding a meaningful piece of furniture, adding storage that supports your lifestyle, or planning a layout that simply flows, my goal is to design a home that feels like you.
I started Interior Plans to help homeowners clarify, guide, and communicate their renovation goals, especially in the most complex and expensive areas of the home: kitchens, bathrooms, and floor plans.
Builders and tradespeople are not mind readers; they rely on you to tell them what you want, let them do their job of building, and together we can design and provide drawings. Having a clear set of plans makes the process smoother, reduces stress, and saves time and money.
As an independent interior designer, I am not tied to any suppliers, styles, or sales targets. You get unbiased advice, smart design solutions, and detailed design drawings that multiple tradespeople can quote from, giving you the ability to compare quotes, potentially saving you thousands and choose who you want to work with.
