About Max - Interior Designer in the Dandenong Ranges

Hello, I'm Max, an interior designer based in the Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne. I have a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration and a National Accreditation Certificate IV in Kitchen and Bathroom Design. I have also renovated five homes of my own. That combination of formal training and real personal experience is what shapes how I work.

I love designing spaces that flow well, are easy to live in, and genuinely reflect who you are, your routines, your memories and your personality. Whether that means incorporating your grandmother's sideboard, planning a dog wash area, or simply creating a kitchen that works the way you cook, these details are what give a home its character.

I started Interior Plans to help homeowners feel clear and confident about their renovation, especially in the most complex and expensive areas of the home, kitchens, bathrooms and floor plans.

Builders and tradespeople are not mind readers, they need clear instructions to do their best work. That is where I come in. A detailed set of design drawings gives everyone on your project the same clear brief, making the process smoother, reducing stress and saving you time and money.

As an independent interior designer, I am not tied to any suppliers, styles or sales targets. You get unbiased advice and detailed design drawings that multiple tradespeople can quote from, giving you the ability to compare quotes, choose who you want to work with, and potentially save thousands.

I work with homeowners across Ferny Creek, Sassafras, Belgrave, Emerald, Monbulk, Cockatoo, Selby, Avonsleigh, Menzies Creek and surrounding areas of the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Ranges.

If you are thinking about renovating and want honest, practical guidance from someone who genuinely loves this work, I would love to hear about your project. Feel free to explore my services and portfolio, or get in touch directly. Max
